Grant audits

Many businesses and organisations in receipt of government grant funding are often required to appoint an Independent Accountant to inspect and report on their financial statements relating to the grant. The inspection will often look to certify:

  • that the financial information and level of grant claimed are accurate;
  • costs reported have been properly incurred and paid, and;
  • queries raised by the Independent Accountant have been answered satisfactorily.

Whether you have received a grant from agencies such as Innovate UK, Horizon 2020, INTERREG or elsewhere, and are required to appoint an Independent Accountant, we can help.

We support a number of our clients with their financial reporting of grants, providing the peace of mind that the information presented is accurate and reporting deadlines are met.
